Biography :
Joerg Lozek was born in 1971 in Chemnitz, Germany. He currently lives and works in Leipzig. Pursued his studies at the Leipzig Art Academy, now internationally known as the epicenter of the vibrant “New Leipzig School,” which emerged around 2000. Joerg Lozek, like other artists from this informal scene, develops the same interest in history, architecture and an underlying questioning of socialist aesthetics and figurative painting.
He exhibited in 2002 and 2003 at the LIGA gallery, a now famous alternative gallery space in Berlin, which was the first exhibition venue for many artists from Leipzig. Since then he exhibited in Cologne (Galerie Binz und Kraemer), in London (Rhodes+Mann Gallery), in Los Angeles (Sandroni Rey Gallery), in Paris (Galerie Daniel Templon) and in various group shows.

Biography :
He was born in 1970 in the Channel Islands, UK, and studied at Goldsmiths University, in London. He now lives and works both in London and Lisbon. Jason Martin took part in Sensation: Young British Artists from the Saatchi Collection, the exhibition that set forth his entrance to the international art world, in 1997. Ever since, the artist has been exhibited in the most important museums, such as the Peggy Guggheneim Collection in Venice (2009) and he has won two awards: the Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art (1999) and the European Biennial of the Visual Arts of La Spezia (2000). He is mainly known for his monocromatic paintings. Jason Martin’s works fluctuate through tension and quiet. His art embodies vitality and energy generating a simultaneity of the image among action and dynamism. His constant quality lies both on a perpetual movement and on a continuous need to question himself and all the infinite ways of painting. Everything calls to mind the dynamism of a “single act” unifying creation and glaze, perfection and observation.

Detailed Description :
London painter born in 1970, Jason Martin produces monochrome paintings on an aluminium background upon which the stroke becomes the subject of the piece. The background remains saturated - sometimes visible, sometimes invisible – through the grooves: once dry, it becomes a more concrete, raw, granular and mute surface, void of reflection.

Detailed Description :
Some relics are deformed and twisted, brought in a different status of being, deconstructed and given back to a primitive, rude and natural world. The matter is stretched, made volcanic; it is immersed in a geological and crystal world, a mysteriously captivating mineral universe.
"I believe that a succesful work could completely conceal the artist, make him anonymous compared to it, so as to be orphaned forever of any meaning or intention the artist wanted to convey, entering in a higher order than the spiritual categories."

Biography :
Jenni Hiltunen (born 1981 in Hollola, Finland lives and works in Helsinki), graduated as a Master of arts from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 2007 and as a contemporary artist from the Turku Art Academy in 2004.
Hiltunen's work explores the ambience of the present time: a pleasure oriented and individualistic world view and the understanding of reality through images. Recurring themes in her art are the “posing culture” created by social media and the internet and its pretentious way of existing in the world of entertainment. References to the fashion imagery and music video aesthetics are present in her paintings and video pieces.
